What is AdjunctImpact?

AdjunctImpact is an online platform, connecting department chairs, human resources, the faculty development center, and other support services to adjunct instructors from day one – and staying with them throughout their teaching career.

1. Providing an initial orientation to your particular school, guiding the new adjunct through the process of getting started as a new hire.

2. Preparing the new adjunct for the first day of class — preparing a syllabus and lesson plans, class agendas, student information forms, and much more.

3. Offering ongoing communication through announcements and discussion boards.

4. Providing a tracking system that ensures adjuncts acquire the information they need.

Will this require a lot of our staff time?

NO. It will make your time more efficient and effective. bcpLearning staff will take care of building the portal. Experienced tech and support staff will assist your college every step of the way, to tailor the program to meet the needs of your adjuncts.

After the portal is working for you, department chairs, human resources, faculty development, and support services will be able to access the management and communication tools at the optimal times they need to connect to adjuncts.

Will the program be mounted on our server?

NO. bcpLearning will house and maintain the portal. The college will be provided management tools to update and make changes as needed.

Can our site be customized?

ABSOLUTELY. Your portal will show your institution's logo and graphics, so it will appear as an integrated offering from the school.

The content is modifiable to allow your school's policies, information, requirements, and other important information.

Will it replace our existing programs?

IT WILL ENHANCE YOUR PROGRAMS. Faculty and staff will have more time and resources to connect with adjuncts.

While AdjunctImpact includes many features, you may, for example, have an excellent sexual harassment orientation which you wish to use. In that case, we would simply insert or provide a link to your program. The Resources Tab is the section where you may add faculty manuals, information technology handbooks, and other materials you want adjuncts to have.

Is it easy to update?

YES. That’s one reason why the program is located on a separate portal maintained by bcpLearning. As bcpLearning and our AI partners make corrections or improvements to the permanent materials, or add new modules, we will automatically upload them to your portal... with no effort...or extra cost... required on your part.

Can we track adjunct usage of the program?

YES. We can provide reports of your adjunct use, even including the amount of time the individual adjuncts spent with the program.
